Condé Nast: Top Ten!

Condé Nast Traveler has just released the results of its 2013 Readers’ Choice Survey and Québec City is getting the recognition it deserves: Besting cities like Venice, Seville, and even Paris, the Vieille Capitale is a top ten city!

I cannot say that I am surprised. This city has everything that a discerning tourist – whether a sophisticated seasoned world traveler or a neophyte explorer – could wish for: great restaurants, stunning architecture, a fascinating history, and a spectacular countryside just minutes away.

CNN’s on-line coverage of the highly reputed Condé Nast ‘Best of’ lists begins with a lovely aerial view of Québec in winter, highlighting the fact that it is a city with year-round appeal despite the annual snowfall totals.

It is the intangible that sets this city apart though. Walking through the streets of Québec, you forget that you are on the East Coast of North America. Am I in England? Am I in France? Come to Québec. Come find out.

  1. I loved your city. It was the highlight of my trip to Canada. I would wish to come again but I am too old at 92 for much more travel. I would appreciate hearing from you anytime. Bon Jour?
