It is the first snow of the season this morning in Québec City. In Québec, snow is good. Snow means skiing at Mont Sainte Anne. It means snowshoeing on the Plains of Abraham. It means winter carnival, cozy restaurants, and skating on the Place d’Youville under tiny white lights that make the most of the early darkness.
I can’t wait!
